Impact of digital assets on modern portfolios
and their role in the classic 60/40 structure
Digital assets are gradually moving from the periphery of the market and transforming into a full-fledged component of investment strategies. Their evolution - from a speculative instrument to the emergence of regulated investment products and mature staking protocols - has created conditions under which certain digital assets can organically complement traditional portfolios and enhance their structural resilience. This study examines how the digital layer affects the return, risk, and stress resilience of portfolios that include SPY, QQQ, and AGG.
