Fonte Capital Launches the first spot Bitcoin ETF in Central Asia
Kazakhstan has joined the global ETF race with a regulated fund backed by physical Bitcoin.

Kazakhstan-based investment management company Fonte Capital Ltd has launched the first spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) in Central Asia, marking an important milestone in the development of the region’s digital asset ecosystem.
The Fund - Fonte Bitcoin Exchange Traded Fund OEIC PLC (BETF) - has been officially included in the Official List of the Astana International Exchange - AIX and is regulated under the framework of the AIFC (Astana International Financial Centre). Trading of BETF shares will begin on August 13, 2025, under the ticker BETF, with pricing in U.S. dollars.
