Fonte Capital announces the launch of a new fund, Fonte Emerging Markets Umbrella Fund OEIC Limited

Private company Fonte Capital Ltd announces the launch of a new open-ended investment fund — Fonte Emerging Markets Umbrella Fund OEIC Limited (the Fund), registered in the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) on June 13,2024.

The Exempt Fund is organized as an umbrella fund, including various sub-funds. The sub-funds represent distinct investment portfolios within the main fund, each with its unique investment objectives, strategies, and assets. Thus, the Fund utilizes internal mechanisms to segregate the assets and liabilities of the sub-funds. It is noteworthy that this is the first umbrella fund registered in the AIFC.

The Fund’s strategy involves the allocation of the investment portfolio’s assets across broadly defined asset classes with varying degrees of risk. The Fund offers its investment shares in the AIFC through private placement to persons who are Professional Clients. The minimum subscription amount is USD 50,000.
