Fonte Capital Ltd participated in a seminar at Turan University
Anti-fraud, countering dropper schemes, personal finance, and investing were the key topics of the meeting
On September 24, Turan University hosted a seminar on “Financial Literacy as a factor in improving public Well-being”, organized by the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of Financial Market (Agency) as part of the Fingramota.kz project.
The seminar was opened with welcoming remarks by Rahman Alshanov, President of the «Turan» Educational Corporation, and Olzhas Kizatov, Deputy Chairman of the Agency.
The program of the seminar included two thematic blocks: countering financial fraud and managing personal finances.
The seminar featured speakers from the Agency and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as representatives of leading financial organizations, including the investment management company Fonte Capital Ltd and the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), along with faculty members of the Graduate School of Finance and Accounting at Turan University.
During the seminar, Pavel Afanasyev, CFO of Fonte Capital Ltd, addressed the students, sharing insights on the key aspects of Kazakhstan’s financial sector and the principles of investment literacy.
The event brought together students and financial experts, serving as an important platform for the exchange of knowledge and for promoting financial literacy culture in Kazakhstan.
