Fonte Capital participates in AIFC Community: 2024 Business Wrap-Up

On November 28, 2024, Fonte Capital Ltd took part in the AIFC Community: 2024 Business Wrap-Up event, organized to foster professional knowledge exchange among participants of the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) platform. The meeting aimed to discuss key regulatory changes, showcase successful case studies, and strengthen business connections.

The event featured a panel session dedicated to the regulatory framework updates at the AIFC in 2024. The session speakers included:

• Yerzhan Mussin, CEO of Fonte Capital Ltd;

• Pavel Afanasyev, COO of Fonte Capital Ltd;

• Aizhan Kuanysh, Director of the Authorizations division,  AFSA;

• Asem Kumar, Head of  Public issuers department, AIX;

• Miras Moldabayev, Commercial Director,  Head of Astana Office, Amicorp Kazakhstan Limited.

The session was moderated by Zhanna Diyarova, Director of participants support and sales department, AIFC Administration.

During the discussion, participants reviewed key changes in the regulatory framework for asset management, which enabled Fonte Capital to launch the first Umbrella Fund and list the first Exempt Fund on the AIX. The speakers also touched on the prospects for developing investment funds within the AIFC infrastructure and shared their experience in launching new investment instruments.
